To recognise migrant voices as producers of knowledge, narratives, and languages of their own that challenge hegemonic discourses on migration, identity, and belonging. The project was created to generate safe spaces for expression and encounter among migrants, especially women and racialised dissidents.
En Palabras combines oral memory, creative writing, and cultural mediation to activate collective processes of storytelling and transformation. Through workshops, publications, and public presentations, it builds a living archive of migrant stories that expands imaginaries and promotes the right to narrate ourselves in our own voices.
