To incorporate an anti-racist, intersectional, and rights-based perspective into the formulation of national cultural policies. The challenge was to ensure the real and binding participation of migrant and racialised cultural agents in defining proposals for the Cultural Rights Plan.
We designed and facilitated a participatory process with artists, activists, and cultural sector professionals, creating safe spaces for dialogue, critical listening, and collective proposal-building.
Based on this work, we drafted the technical document for the Ethnic-Racial Diversity axis, integrating community contributions within the institutional framework of the plan.
