In diverse urban contexts, young people’s experiences of intercultural coexistence rarely become part of public narratives. The challenge was to create an artistic process where youth from different backgrounds could develop their own perspectives on the city, challenge stereotypes, and share experiences that foster mutual recognition and sensitivity to diversity.
A workshop-based process was developed that integrated performing arts experimentation and audiovisual production to create collective narratives. The methodology prioritized collaboration, experience sharing, and exploration of expressive languages connected to the group. The result was a hybrid work, both performing and audiovisual, which fosters reflection and awareness on intercultural coexistence from youth perspectives in the city.
